GLASS IMAGES
These are photographs of glass pieces taken in the amazing direct sunlight we have here in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. It started when I would watch the sun moving around my living room in the morning. When it would hit some of my many glass pieces, collected over years of painting still lives, interesting things would happen in the glass and the area around it.
So I started putting pieces on my dining table in groupings and watching and capturing the magic that happened.
I searched out new and interesting glass pieces to add to the collection. Each one added a new look through the quality of its shape and its glass. Chrystal was a totally different experience as well. It's been fascinating!
My neighbor has now built a wall that blocks my light so I'm finished and I miss it. However, as a former interior designer, I do enjoy working with the images.
I have over 10,000 images of the glass in sunlight. Many have companion pieces that could be used in groupings.
This is not a catalog. It is just to give an idea of some of the many possibilities. They are in categories so you can choose what suits your project most. This is a sample. I actually have twenty-four different categories in my computer. Some images fit into multiple ones.
